Chickasaw National Industries, is hiring about 200 people for a variety of job opportunities in Sparta, WI @ Ft. McCoy, supporting the military with their quarantine base. Military people coming or going to active duty will quarantine at this camp for 2 weeks. This will be a fast paced food service environment in a very large kitchen/dining area. CNI will pay for transportation and housing to anyone who is interested in supporting the Ft. McCoy efforts. For example, if they live in another state or if it is an extremely long drive; 100-200 miles away, who will house/hotel there.
 
Fulltime, overtime, weekend and holiday work is available. They need Cooks, Stockers, Custodians (constant contact cleaning/sanitization), Bus Drivers and Food Service workers. Because this is a Government contract w/the military they must be a US Citizen or an Active Green Card holder to work. These jobs do not require a Government clearance.            Temporary La Crosse Warming Center Lead Staff

 

                     Catholic  Charities  is  currenly  looking  to immediately fill a Shelter Staff

                     Position  in  La Crosse  working  with  the homeless population. The Staff

                     would assist in the operations and provide shift supervision, support, and training to volunteers during the evening and night shifts.

 

Ideal candidates will possess excellent decision making & interpersonal skills. Be recognized as a leader and respond to urgent and/ or unexpected situations. Prior experience with the homeless or vulnerable desired. Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends.

Shifts would be 8am-12:30pm, 12pm-4:30pm, 4pm-8:30pm, and 8pm-12:30am 12am-4:30am 4am-8:30am. Staff may choose to work two shifts back-to-back if desired. Background check required. The staff will actually be working at the hotel we are providing shelter through until the end of October. The position is limited term through the end of October.

 

The wage is $20/hour, no benefits. We are hiring a limited number of people as Leads who will be paid $23/hour. Experience working in social services or shelter is great and Leads should have some kind of previous supervisory experience.
